We work with schools and colleges across Hull and beyond to bring contemporary art to life for students of all ages. Our free gallery visits, tailored tours and creative learning experiences connect directly to the curriculum, spark curiosity and build confidence in creative thinking. Whether you’re planning a quick visit or a deep dive into our exhibitions, our friendly team will work with you to make sure your students leave feeling inspired and ready to see the world differently. We also offer CPD for teachers to support and refresh your approach to teaching art.

Inspiring creativity and critical thinking
We design our schools and colleges offer to support learning at every key stage. Younger pupils can explore colour, pattern, shape and form, making links between artistic practice and their own creations. Older students will analyse and evaluate works, strengthen visual literacy and gain deeper insights into artistic styles, movements and contexts. Our school trips are co-designed with teachers to meet learning objectives, and learning resources are available to extend the experience before and after your visit. CPD sessions can take place in the gallery or your school, helping you embed creative approaches that inspire pupils and link art to the wider curriculum.
