Cafe, Bar & Rooftop Garden

Whether you’re joining us to explore an exhibition, meeting friends for coffee or looking for somewhere to unwind after work, Humber Street Gallery is the perfect place to spend time.

Our ground floor café/bar serves expertly brewed coffee from local roasters The Blending Room, alongside cakes, matcha, Dalston’s craft sodas, wines, beers and cocktails. It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to start the day, catch up with friends or settle in with a drink after exploring the gallery.

From Thursday to Saturday, we’re open until 9pm, making it the perfect place for after work drinks or an evening on Humber Street.

A drinks menu worth exploring

Our drinks menu has been curated with the same attention to detail as our exhibition programme, bringing together products chosen for their quality, character and individuality.

Our wine list includes everything from crisp classics to natural wines, orange wine, pét-nat and a beautifully chilled red that’s perfect for warmer evenings. Whether you’re trying something new or returning to an old favourite, our team are always happy to help you find the right glass.

Alongside the wines you’ll find premium beers from across Europe, including NOAM Bavarian Lager, Alhambra Reserva 1925 and Damm Inedit, the celebrated Spanish gastronomy beer designed to be enjoyed from a wine glass. We also serve Maison Sassy’s elegant Brut and Rosé ciders from Normandy, alongside a changing selection of classic cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.

The Rooftop Garden

Hidden above Humber Street, our Rooftop Garden is one of Hull’s best-kept secrets.

Open throughout the summer, it’s the perfect place to enjoy a glass of wine, an ice-cold beer or an evening cocktail while taking in panoramic views across the city. From the Humber Bridge and Hull Minster to The Deep and the surrounding rooftops, it’s a unique place to spend a sunny afternoon or watch the sun go down after work.

With planting, relaxed seating and a carefully chosen drinks menu, the Rooftop Garden offers a quieter side of Humber Street, while still being right at the heart of it.

Whether you’re dropping in for a coffee, staying for a second glass of wine or spending the whole evening with us, there’s always a reason to visit.
